CO Leak From a Faulty Stove on Shaw Drive

Today at 16:08, we were dispatched to Shaw Drive for a carbon monoxide alarm activation. Kingston Chief 39, Deputy Chief 39 Engine #3, Rescue #2 along with Little Rocky Hill Fire Company Rescue 41 responded. Crews used gas meters to check the home and found CO readings of 40 p.p.m.

Dumpster Fire on Major Road

Chief 240, Deputy Chief 250, Engine #4 (244) and Rescue 2 (242) responded to a one alarm fire to assist Monmouth Junction Fire Department this afternoon. It was a dumpster fire next to a structure on Major Road. Our crew checked for extension and assisted with extinguishment.

Neighboring Business Caused CO Illness at Pet Smart

At 15:42 this afternoon we responded to Pet Smart on Route 1 for fumes in the building with employees feeling ill. Chief 240, Deputy Chief 250, Engine #5 (245), Rescue #2 (242), and Special Services #6 (246) responded. Crews had a slight smell of gas in the building. Further investigation
