Fully Involved Truck Fire Suppressed on Laurel Avenue

We responded to a motor vehicle fire on Monday, February 5, 13:42, on Laurel Avenue/Kingston Rocky Hill Road, south of Route 518 . Responded from Kingston were Deputy Chief 39, Engine 39-4, and Engine 39-5, and from Little Rocky Hill, Fire Tanker 41 and Engine 41. Crews stretched a 1 3/4″ foam line to extinguish the truck fire. Attack began transitionally outside of the cab, where the crew also forcibly entered. Remaining suppression came topside.
