Engine 5’s First Dispatch: Academy Street

Engine #5 (245) responded on its first call this evening. It responded to a call for a smell of smoke inside a residence on Academy Street in Kingston. Crews checked the interior and determined the smell was from a fireplace in the neighborhood. The crew that responded on the Engine’s first call was Lieutenant Bill Mooney. Captain Gary Rustico, and firefighters Dennis Shennard and David Dressel.
