Kingston Fire Department responded to East Franklin Fire Station 27 this evening with a Rapid Intervention Crew while units operated at 363 Berry Street for a Structure Fire.
East Franklin Chief Dan Krushinski arrived 2 minutes after dispatch and reported a working fire. East Franklin Squad 27 arrived first due and deployed there own feeder line, as well as stretch a 1 inch 3/4 hand line. Community Fire Company’s Ladder 25 arrived and did a primary search, then went to the roof to start to opening up. Chief Krushinski would request his 2nd Alarm Companies prior to crews bringing the fire under control about 20 minutes after arriving. Crews would remain on scene for an additional 30 minutes checking for extension and extinguishing hot spots.
