Final Run for Engine #5 (245)

by | Dec 27, 2016

Our 1982 Hahn pumper is now officially out of service. This engine has faithfully served our community for 34 years. South Brunswick Fire District #3 has sold it to the highest bidder through the government bidding process. This engine will be replaced by our new Spartan engine.

The 1982 Hahn was and is a 1250 gallon per minute pumper with a 750 gallon water tank. The members of the Fire Company are left with many good memories.

Pictured is the Hahn on it’s last emergency run, which was on November 3rd on Railroad Avenue in Kingston. Pictured are from left to right the the crew who responded on that call: Lieutenant Chris Ciabattone, driver/operator Karl Eisenmann and Firefighter/coordinator Mike Bailey
